Quick update...

After a 45 minute ultrasound we are positive that we are having a baby GIRL! Can you believe it? We can't! Our little girl was moving and kicking like crazy, she even got the hiccups- so the radiologist reassured me that if there was something there to see- we would have seen it. Instead we saw a line, or in their words "the hamburger."

(I know what happened to Emily and her beautiful/handsome Stetson, so I am still a little hesitant-even after two ultrasounds saying she's a girl.)

Max is now excited to have a baby sister, but he is still insisting on the name Mason...sometimes Mason gets switched with Spider-man, or Chris Cooley-but most of the time she's still baby Mason. We have determined that girl names are way harder to pick out that boy names, but what do we know...our son shares his name with most people's dogs!! haha

Thanks for sharing in our excitement! It was so fun to read all of your thoughts and well wishes.

Well bless your little heart--I'm excited for you. I'm sure your little girl will be beautiful. I was debating washing all my girl clothes today in preparation and I got scared that we were going to have a boy and that I wouldn't be prepared again. I'm wondering if I should have my dad bring me some boy 0-3 stuff when he comes next week!

Hey! That's great about "knowing" you are having a girl... it always made me feel better when I knew what was going on. and I agree with you about picking out girl names- much harder than boy names! Good luck!

I had the exact same experience. I had two ultrasounds that said she was a girl, but I could not believe it. So I really didn't buy too much girl stuff but I was so glad when she was born. Girls are so much fun. I had no idea what I was missing out on. I love to get her dressed and put her bow on. I know where to get lots of cute girl accessories so let me know if your interested.

I bet you are so excited!!! We had over 15 ultrasounds and the sonograhpher "cheked" everytime for a hamburger. Picking a name was the hardest part for us too, Kenley was nameless for two days.

Yea!! A girl will be so much fun, their clothes are great. Watch Charlie, he'll be wooped in a matter of seconds and then you will no longer be in the drivers seat, she will be.

Of course Mom has kept me well informed on all the going-ons with you, but I did want to say congratulations! What exciting news. And despite Max's initial disappointment, he'll love being the hero. Besides, girl clothes are way more fun.
