We left Grand Junction and took the beautiful -but scary(dark and rainy)- four hour drive through the mountain into Denver. We were headed to my Aunt Susan's house and a trip to the Zoo! We had a great time staying with my Aunt Susan and visiting my cousins. For those of you who don't know-I have tons of relatives in the Denver area. Max loved seeing my cousin's little boy, Alex. They had a blast together-especially at the zoo.

Max loved the bears, the Polar Bears were blowing bubbles in the water and he thought it was hilarious.
The Grizzly Bears were eating....for some reason Max thought they were eating "birthday cake." It looks like a bone to me!
Max really liked the elephants and the lions, I think it is because they were easier to see than most animals.

FUN TRIP! That zoo looked a lot better than the Tulsa zoo and we have a pretty cool zoo here. How fun for Max! He looked like such a big boy in those pictures and you look as beautiful as ever!
